Abstract

The objective of thisthesis is to study of welded joint from austenitic stainless stell 304L. We have usedmany techniques of characterization for studying the microstructural and mechanical aspects. We have found that the welded joint is formed of three zones (BM, HAZ and FZ) and sub-zone in FZ. The texture of the welded joint has been determined. Isothermal heat treatments have been applied on the welded joint. These heat treatments have improved the quality of the welded joint, particulary at 500°C.
