Abstract
The photovoltaic energy sector is witnessing accelerated expansion that has made it one of the most important pillars of the global energy transition. However, improving the efficiency of gridconnected systems and ensuring their stability under varying operating conditions still represents a major technical challenge. In this context, this thesis presents an integrated framework that combines precise modeling, intelligent optimization, and experimental validation, with the aim of developing more efficient and reliable photovoltaic systems. The study included an advanced comparison between single-stage and two-stage topologies, the design of a real experimental platform based on a three-phase inverter, in addition to the evaluation of modern metaheuristic algorithms for maximum power point tracking and the analysis of advanced control strategies to improve power quality and dynamic response. The results showed remarkable performance of the proposed solutions in terms of tracking speed, increased power extraction efficiency, and enhanced system stability, making this thesis a promising scientific and practical contribution to the development of the next generation of grid-connected solar power plants.
