Abstract

ABSTRACT : Our thesisis an attempt of development, on the one hand, the socio-cognitivepotential of the learner FLE including the activity of reading and understanding and, another, the languageused in situation of teacher. Our goal is to optimize this activity of learning in FLE in third secondary school, to overcome the literal reading practice and adopt a posture reader - interpreter in an educational context favoring the use, both, language and cognitive processes enabling the learner to internalize knowledge and know - how. Our thinking has referred to various theories, including socio-historical and constructivist, where we meet several renowned authors to support our hypotheses and make clear our ideas. Indeed, notions such as language practices, dialogism, secondarisation, schematization ... etc., Are central to ourthinking. According to ourfindings the learner FLE is rarely oriented interactions that could develop a thinking language, reasoning and argumentation when it comes to ownership of knowledge. The transmissive method is preponderant, teaching speech and dominates the intervention of some students is limited, often to repeat words. The same teacher practices, text presentation, explanation and analysis are repeated with each type of text, and with each class, Science, Letters... ,. Most learners believe that the meaningis in the text or in the words to explain and success is in the reuse of expressions memorized. In our experience, the results are not exhaustive, it appears that more we allow to student to practice interpretation, subjective and rational form, more objects of knowledge and know - how build and leave traces of acquisition especialy in writing activity.
