Abstract
In order to properly master the technical and technological parameters during the manufacture of trusted wires and produce quality products responding to the breaches required by users of threads in medium carbon steel of nuances C68D-2 intended for the manufacture of mattresses springs, which often encounter difficulties when shaping these sons in particular the appearance of the problem of repetitive thread during the formation of the nodes of the springs, hence the requirement of understanding these phenomena in order to find solutions to this problem of breakage. In this study, we will try on the one hand to highlight the relationship between microstructural evolution and mechanical properties, mainly the behavior in traction and torsion of trusted wires and on the other hand the effect of thermal treatments particularly the annealing treatment on the microstructure, texture and mechanical properties of these deformed wires. This study is proposed as part of a scientific collaboration with the National Tréfilage Society and Manufacturing of Welding Products (Trefisoud) of ElEulma, Sétif. A variety of experimental measurement and characterization techniques have allowed us to do this work. These methods are: optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), (EBSD/OIM) analysis, X-ray diffraction, micro hardness measurements and traction and torsion tests.
